Repair
All items in the world of Oz have durability. The majority of
items have finite duration, while some special items never break.
In order to prevent your items from decaying completely, you
must repair them regularly. The cost for repair is determined
by the basic price and the remaining durability at the time
of repair. For common items, repairing is only helpful in that
it saves you the hassle of having to purchase the same item
from a store again. However, if you have a rare item that is
difficult to acquire (some items are not even sold in stores),
repair is the only way of retaining the item beyond its first
durability cycle. |

Combinations
While most common items are sold in stores across the world
of Oz, there are other rare items that shopkeepers cannot get a
hold of easily. Because of the scarcity, they are very desirable
objects of power. Many of such items are created through item combinations.
By consulting an appropriate combination
table, players can create their own valuables.
