What are skills?
In Oz, skills are what allow for more efficient fishing. All skills are related to fishing, and the level of an avatar determines what skills are available for use. Upon reaching level 25, a player may choose to 'Give Skill' to other players, imparting the effects of his skill to them. Recipients of 'Give Skill' may be of any level.
'Defense' is a skill that blocks the effects of such incoming skill, should one wish to fish with the help of others. 'Defense' skill is available to players of all levels. However, subsequent skills must be learned in order. Therefore one must learn 'Confusion' first in order to obtain 'Wide Aura' skill. Using a skill costs Friend and Love points, but increases Social points. |
